The Seafood Bar in old town Amsterdam (family run business with multiple locations) is a great place to get a very tasty dinner in a city full of tourist trap restaurants. The dining room was bustling on a Sunday night and the line at the door was long but the staff handled the crowds with grace and efficiency. We called ahead with a reservation and were seated in the beautifully designed dining hall within ten minutes.

Our order (mixed seafood grill, broiled red snapper with a yellow curry sauce & risotto as well as a side green salad) came out just as we were finishing our cava sparkling wine. Both entrees were cooked to perfection and we enjoyed our dinner as we watched the world go by. We highly recommend The Seafood Bar as one of your dinner stops if you make your way to Amsterdam!
